Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information HandyToolsHub processes and how selected tools and service providers handle requests. Processing varies by tool.

Last updated: October 31, 2026

Information this website may process

The information processed depends on the tool you choose. It may include text, domain names, selected currency codes, uploaded image data, and basic request information needed to deliver and protect the service.

When you contact us, we receive the email address and the information you choose to include in your message. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, confidential business information, or other sensitive information through a tool or support email.

How individual tools process inputs

Browser-based tools, such as the JSON Formatter, perform their main processing in your browser. The content you enter for that operation is not intentionally sent to our tool-processing API.

DNS Lookup sends the domain name and requested record type to our server so it can perform the lookup. The lookup is then made through Cloudflare’s public DNS-over-HTTPS resolver. Do not use this tool for domain names you are not authorized to query.

Currency Converter sends the selected base currency code to our server to retrieve exchange rates. The rate service is provided by ExchangeRate-API. The conversion amount and arithmetic are handled by the tool; the rate request does not need your entered amount.

Image Background Remover uploads the image you select to our server and a dedicated Cloudflare Worker for image processing using Cloudflare Images. The application code does not intentionally save uploaded image bytes to its own persistent storage or log image content. The image is returned to your browser after processing. Cloudflare and infrastructure providers may process request data as needed to provide and secure the service.

Other tools may use different processing paths. Check the notice displayed with a tool and avoid submitting information unless you are comfortable with the described processing.

Operational data and security

Our server-side tools use request information, which may include an IP address, for rate limiting, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and service security. Rate-limit state in the application is held in memory; this does not mean that hosting, network, or infrastructure providers do not create their own operational logs.

We do not intentionally ask for account passwords or payment details to use the tools. We use technical safeguards such as input validation, request limits, and security headers, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Third-party service providers

Depending on the tool, service providers may include Vercel for application hosting and delivery, Cloudflare for DNS resolution and image processing, and ExchangeRate-API for exchange-rate data. Those providers may process request information under their own terms and privacy notices. Their own retention and logging practices are controlled by them, not by this website.

We do not control independent providers’ privacy practices, and you should review their policies if you need details about their processing.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The website and its infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver pages, maintain security, and operate the service. Browser settings can help you manage cookies, although blocking some technologies may affect functionality.

At the time of this policy revision, the application source reviewed for this policy did not include a configured Google AdSense advertising tag or a first-party analytics integration. This may change. If advertising or analytics services are added, those services may use cookies or similar technologies to measure usage, deliver ads, or personalize advertising, subject to applicable consent requirements and provider settings. This policy will be updated when those services are enabled.

Storage and retention

Tool inputs are processed for the operation you request. The application code reviewed for the tools described above does not intentionally store JSON Formatter input, DNS lookup input, currency-conversion amounts, or uploaded background-removal image bytes in a user account or persistent application database. The image-processing worker is designed to return the processed image without saving the image to persistent storage.

Operational logs or records may be generated by hosting, network, and third-party providers. Their retention periods depend on each provider’s configuration and policies. We do not make a blanket promise that every request or every provider log is immediately deleted.

Messages sent to our support email remain in the email systems used by the sender and recipient. We may retain correspondence as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, and address follow-up issues.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can choose not to use a tool or not to submit particular information. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Depending on your location and the information involved, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other handling of personal information.

To ask a privacy question or submit a request, contact handytoolshub00@gmail.com. Please describe your request without sending passwords or other sensitive information. We may need enough information to understand and verify a request before responding.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when tools, providers, or website features change. The revision date above indicates when this page was last updated. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
