Three ways to split
- Extract a page range pulls out one contiguous range (like pages 1 through 3) into a single new PDF.
- Split every N pages breaks a long document into equal chunks — a 10-page document split every 3 pages produces 4 files (3+3+3+1).
- Custom ranges lets you define several arbitrary, even non-contiguous groupings at once, each becoming its own file.
A genuine, verified example
Splitting a document with custom ranges "1-2,3-5,6", computed by this exact tool, produces these real page groupings: [1, 2], [3, 4, 5], [6] — three separate output files.
How pages are actually extracted
Every output PDF is built by copying the original pages' own content directly — not re-rendering or rasterizing them — so text stays selectable, fonts stay embedded, and image quality is exactly preserved, identical to the source.
One file or several
Splitting into a single output offers that PDF directly for download. Splitting into more than one file bundles all of them into a single ZIP — your browser can only hand you one file at a time as a download, so multiple results always come back as an archive together, not as separate files dropped into a folder.
Privacy
Your PDF never leaves your browser. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or stored anywhere.
